I posted some Hugo bills a while back, but I recently came across some Hugo coins as well. The tail side of this 10 franc coin basically combines Delacroix's "Victory Leading the People" with Notre-Dame, a Cosette type girl, a book, and a scary mask-looking Hugo face. The head side of the coin has Hugo's face and the date the coin was made (1985). I assume this was to commerate the hundred year anniversary of his death.

The Guernsey mint also has a Hugo coin, although this seems to be purely a souvenir and not actually currency. But it's made of gold! The head side has an image of his head and the back has a quote is his over an image of the English Channel.
