I'll start a mini-series of the Les Miz sites I visited in Paris, starting with the Jardin du Luxeumbourg (the garden where Marius stalked Cosette):

This is the Medici Fountain. Although the only statue (that I know of) that is referred to directly in Les Miz is the "Gladiator" (which I could not find), this would have been present in the 1830's.

This is a view of the Palace, which is now the Senate. It's taken from the central part of the garden where the majority of the benches are. One of the Les Miz movies I've seen was filmed around this spot.

The central fountain with a view of the Pantheon where Victor Hugo is buried. Appropriate, I thought.
